After the Modi Wave triumphed against the others in the general elections last week, the Indian Rupee seems to be celebrating the success of the Vikas Purush. Continuing its rise for another session, the Indian rupee today jumped by 32 paise to trade at 11-month high of 58.47 against the US dollar.
Dealers and experts said, increased selling of the dollar by banks and exporters amid foreign capital inflows stood by the rupee.
The rupee till now has rose 50 paise to 58.79 to end at 11-month high against the US dollar. The BSE Sensex rose 275.82 points to trade at 24,397.56.
